Pioneering vineyard Bramon Wine Estate near Plettenberg Bay will go on auction today at 12:00.
The award winning 16.8ha boutique wine estate, known for its sparking wines, was the first to plant vines this far east in the Western Cape and became a key driver in establishing Plettenberg Bay as a Wine of Origin region.
Last year the property was listed for sale with an asking price of just below R30 million, but could not attract a successful buyer. It subsequently dropped to R23 million
Tanya Jovanovski, franchisee of Rawson Auctions Western Cape, says it would be ideal to build or expand the property into a boutique hotel and spa to compliment the beautiful mountain views and the waterfall below.
