South Africa comedians are currently on a roll and seem to pop-up on every local, as well as international, TV screen available. Comedian and actor Riaad Moosa’s is no exception and with his new movie Material receiving great reviews across the country, he’s definitely the talk of the town.
It was therefore no surprise seeing Riaad “endorsing” Steers latest Soft Side Ice-cream offering, but I was slightly amused by the post-insert in the clip above, where he punts his movie. It seems like a great guerrilla marketing move, but by who? Riaad or Steers?
Anyhow, who really cares? Maybe someone just want me to watch Riaads movie (which starts today) while licking a Steers Soft Side Ice-cream? Sounds good to me.
